this pattern came from an older self-grafted pattern, that i modified to be am empire. shortly after i cut it out i remembered it WAS an empire and a 19" skirt would be too short, so i added the bottom ruffle for length
i normally don't like the empire cut, and then i saw a really really REALLY pretty Alice And The Pirates empire dress and i gave it a try : D
p.s. the pink is actually pink with white dots, you just cant see it in the pictures
